Vivek Kumra, MD
Dr. Kumra’s passion for serving in India began in 1998, when he volunteered for several months at Bangalore Baptist Hospital. Since that time, he dreamed of being part of a mobile medical team. He has been instrumental in the vision, design, and execution of all of LoveManifest’s Carrus Orbis Health Camps.
The name Carrus Orbis (Latin for “Carry the World”) is in honor of his father, Mohinder Kumra, whose automotive company “Carrus Orbis” was cut short by his untimely death.
Dr. Kumra serves passionately, and with his whole heart. Having a deep love for people, and his creator, we are extremely blessed to have him leading on the front lines. Receiving no financial reward for his service, he considers himself highly overpaid.
“What we have here is a code blue of humanity” says Dr. Kumra, “and God has given me these gifts to make a difference in the world. Yet, in doing so, I’m always the one who is blessed.”
